It's a Revolution

Revolution's TA-2 is amazing, but I didn't spend too much time admiring it at TAS this year. I have seen the car many many times so just a few images from a poorly lit open area. My shots weren't great, so endure my cheap camera shots.

I guess then newest addition to this car are the GCG turbo stickers. Revolution run a few things from Australia as they have some links to the tuning world there. GCG rebuild and service turbochargers. With Pan Speed also getting work done there. Their reputation is second to none.

Other Aussie items include Hollinger gear box and that Motec ecu tuning. See not so bad.

This car was approached for the new World Time Attack Battle at eastern creek raceway in Australia. It may join Pan Speed there but as yet unconfirmed.

As usual the car was awesome, but i still feel some minor changes could be made to make the car more presentable. The wheel gaps could be tightened up a little with small over fenders and some resin areas could be painted.

Time for a filter change by the look of things...

And I'll leave you with the last image that shows the only body colour area left on the car. The Roof.

Hope you are enjoying the TAS coverage from 2010.

RE-Winger

RE-Wing are based in the south of Japan so it's a rare opportunity to see this car.

It really is a formiddable machine. Huge canards up front and an even more massive wing on the rear somehow end up with balance.

The air intake is interesting setup. Dual pipes create confusion surrounding intake and charged air. But there's a T78 in there somewhere.

285 section rear tyres are massive, the metal body has been massaged here.

Front fenders are wider normal looking fenders. Prodrive GC-10G wheels look great.

While not a great shot, the air dam underneath helps reduce drag and create some more downforce to balance that wing.

which, in itself requires a bit of restraint. This car contains a lot of one off fabricated parts from cheaper materials. It proves you don't really need that super aero to be fast. Alternative solutions are out there.

R-Magically

Xbox Forza featuring R-magic on the Option 2 stand.

Along with this Pink Version. Why Rx8? This one's special.

Soon to be converted into a D1 tyre munching machine.

Looks like power will not be a problem. 6-700hp I expect.

Outside in the D1 area, I found Tkayama and the guys from R-Magic.

The current D1 machine is amazing!

Big Intercooler! Big Turbo! Big Piping! Big Power!

Big Holes, Big weight reduction??? Maybe a little.

My favourite part of R-Magic FDs are the Aiz.

In the Sunshine

SAB Kobe / Sunshine Wharf / Woow City / Nagoya Bay or whatever the place is known as has this car.

Leg Sport Canards are small and unobtrusive.

Gurney Flap is subtle addition that adds real downforce. Wing is at Maximum angle.

Front is stock, but the bonnet has an opening that can be easily removed for track excursions. Keep it legal.

Likewise, the TE37 are near standard offset for road compliance.

D-Rights and REV Speed have a lot of involvement with this car and thus the REV-Speed stand was the location.

The car is fast and often takes out rounds of the Direzza Cup Time attack in its class.

Stock... Almost

Mini Mini Choro Q

Wow! These little guys are Takara Tomy Mini Mini Choro Q tuning car series. They are tiny! These are FREE with your Wanda coffee, so if you're in town for Auto Salon be sure to get some on top of your cans.

The FD3s is a Mazdaspeed R-Spec with great detail for something so small and there are GTR, S2000 and EVO and Legacy. I already have some others from previous releases. But these RX7s are cool. I drank a lot of coffee today. hehe.

RE-Xtreme Version III - Concept

Is this a possibility? I have started a blog to drain my brain of concepts and reality. Costs and estimates. Direction and stupidity.

Hmmm . RE-Xtreme Version III sounds good on paper, but what is the reality in as 2010 aproaches?
