Newera FD3s

Recently, I have been lucky enough to spend some time behind the wheel of this wonderful machine. The current spec of the Newera demo car with Knight Sports single turbo set up allows it to perform in almost any situation. From Tokyo traffic to an all out touge attack. The car has simply amazing levels of grip and has provided lots of inspiration for my next car that is just around the corner.

If your after a track tuned FD, a stock street FD to drive every day or just a few parts to tune your existing FD, give Newera a call.

Recently they have also aquired 18 of the "Original" Wild Speed 3 / Fast and the Furious 3 "Tokyo Drift" cars, including 2 Veilside Fortune Rx7s from the movie. One of these is "the" 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon winning car built by Veilside equipped with T04Z.

If your after an FD, you can't go past Newera.

RE-Xtreme Large Test Images

This is a test for a new image layout. Big pics will be supported for major events that I attend and the smaller pics will be available for the general blog reviews and reports. These images are some ideas I had for my next RE-Xtreme FD that made it to photoshop.
Images will be clickable to 700x370 for all large pics. So this year stay tuned for some awesome images. You can click these for larger versions.

I think you can definately see the design ideas for the new car here. Wide and aggressive is the theme.
And maybe a splash of WRC in this one.

Who knows whether it will end up like this, but its at least a starting point.

RE-Xtreme Yokomo Drift

WHY is there an AE86 on my BLOG ????!?!??!?!

Well its because I couldn't get an FD Rx7 Yokomo Drift Package ... I went to RC Champ in Akihabara last week and was totally confused by the selection they had and all the options for the car, so I went home to research. When I went back they were SOLD OUT of both the Apexi FD and the RE-Amemiya FD! So I bought the Droop AE86 and another Zero One FD Rx7 Body.

I just finished painting the FD. But first I will destroy the AE86 while I learn to drift. The build was easy. Just follow the instructions and all parts are marked in separate bags. Straight forward.

I gave it a whirl and she drifts cool. takes about 2 batteries worth to be able to drift with so small consistency. But I will need to practice more.

Stay tuned for crazy drift stories and more posts of the FD body upon completion. Needs a GT Wing me thinks.
