Battle Perspective

A quick look back at Battle Evome R4 with Dino.

TFR prepped FD running 1'01"001

I like seeing different wheels on RE-A cars. This one looks great with Advan RS. Strangely seldom seen. 59"291 set the pace.

59"151 from One's FD

Dino recenly shot the GK Ultimate for Super Street in the USA and it made the cover.

early morning cover was icey. Just a few laps in terrible conditions for  many.

Bronze paint. Bronze wheels gets a Delle Carbonare Gold medal

Another one of those arely seen track warriors.

59"374  for this FD.

It's all about perspective, light, depth of field, framing, and of course being there.

Red FD in the background also runs sub 1.00 regularly.

Super now FC is now wearing TFR logos.

Still a monster. A well sorted FC is still as quick or quicke than most FD3s Maybe they have more space for that HUGE TURBO!

HKS Premium Day 2011 - Perspective

Here is the final perspective of the HKS Premium Day from Dino.

Pan Speed were 2nd quickest on the day. The NSX Turbo from Espirit went quicker.

RE-Amemiya Display

Proshop Screen in the pits.

Te37 clad RS Pantera Ultra 7.

Fam Speed racing factory. Like the sign says. "Enjoy Rotary World"

FAM speed make their own Vmount IC setup

R-Magic car squats very well.

For Fuji Regulars there were a couple on track in the street class. Only in Japan.

including the Pro Shop Screen GT35 still getting attention as they line up.

Thanks for the pics Dino.

RX7 Meeting Winter 2010

RX7 Meeting is held at Tsukuba a few times a year. This was last years 2010 Winter meeting. Be prepared for variety in this post.  About 60 rx7 FD3s on track!!

No I'm not going to show them all. RX7 Meeting was kind enough to give me access to their gallery for you to enjoy. Some of these cars you will have seen before.

This car is always entered as "Pacman 7" I don't know why. On Direzza radials it runs just over 1 minute.

Some you probably haven't seen for a while. But they are still out there running hard.

I love the JGTC body on this ERC tuned car.

It can accommodate some serious dish. Painted rear wing is a nice change too.

Lights up still means "get out of the way" in most countries. 1'00.613 was 3rd quickest time.

RE-Amemiya customer on a charge.  '59.717 was the second fastest time on this day.

The older rounded front bar is still a favourite.

Charging up behind some others. This black car has someinteresting pieces. Border bonnet, older RE-Amemiya mirrors with built in winkers. Free style front is popular.

Another Red one. I'll stick with red for a while. Cool number.

Normal rear fenders on this one and some feed bits. These car's look the same at first glance, but with sooo many variations on the FD3s, you rarely find two exactly the same (even stock)

Tsukuba regulars.

This car has some coolness. I've come to like the Kazama Style kits, But I can't tell the subtleties anymore. Maybe I've almost given up trying to identify all the different kits. Could be Kazama (a couple of variations exist) or Freestyle fenders. Modified Border bonnet is cool too.

This one is easy to identify, STOCK Efini FD3s with Rays wheels. Sliding around just as you'd expect without a decent rear wing. But thats half the fun.

This car has slowly transformed over the last year into something very cool. Recent additions of Black TE37 have it setting a style mantra. +50mm rear fenders allow massive rear fitment.

Budget parts sometimes make do. With drivers of all levels times can be a misrepresentation of outright speed. It takes a lot of skill to get a fast time.

How wide to go?

Full RE-Amemiya AD GT kit with 2002 N1 Facer and sleek lights, still makes a statement.

Scoot bonnet always adds a touch more agression than the hood9. A very common addition.
Not as fast as it looked on the day. Reasons unknown.

Silver car's are still elegant. Ti Racing Sanai, Cwest and the cheap but popular Silkroad canard sets. supported by A048 to 1'01.712

TFR's Demo car is running their new canards. Slightly different. Wing on this car is very BIG. Mirrors look great... Bike Style? might have to investigate a set. A050M compound S-tyres managed 59.311 making this car the fastest on the day.

Another one of those similar second glance cars. Lack of  sleek lights makes this an easy spot.

Almost all these track focussed cars are running front fenders of some kind.

These are those freestyle/Kazama versions. Without the rears though, one might say, unmatched. But the owner, probably doesn't care. He is out there running.

Garage I.R.S running on RE01R radials consistently in the 1'01 range.

we saw this car at seven's day. the mixed bag DIY machine that cuts a darth vadder image.

Knight Sports Type V front bumper and canards.  Simple.

Another owner with a fat front. Cwest Feed Knight Sports combo and a Vmount for good measure.

Black cars really don't need a body kit. You can't even tell they have one half the time.

With this normal bumper the feed front fenders are hard to spot. FD3s look sooo tiny compared to the Imprezza.

And this car looks 100% stock. Baseline 1'11 on RE-11
