7/7/7 - Seven's Day - Chiba

A Multi-National contingent headed out to Makuhari Carrest for a small meeting in the morning of Seven's day.

Cars like these were just casually parked around. Mazdaspeed Represent!

This Grey car was representing the Fujita camp.

But with RE-Amemiya in attendance this was a pre-decessor to the main Tokyo event at Daikoku.

New Touge Monster and the D1 machines.

The New one having curious design.

Fattening the AC kit was a priority.

Touge Monster and D1 Street Legal Machine.

At 3-4pm everyone cleared out and we headed to part two. Daikoku Futo.

The Carrest Event showcased the New D1 Rx7, the New Boost Up Seven with Greddy 9 front and the Touge Monster, Street Legal and Super Greddy Cars also on display.

About 40 cars at this small event, but there were some very nice examples.

A Salute to the MAN!

Just when you think you've seen all the RE-Amemiya machines. There's More.

7/7/7 Seven's Day - Daikoku Futo

Daikoku is guaranteed to draw a crowd and with 500 or more Rx7's in SA, FC and FD and other forms of rotary cars, this event was huge.

R-Magic brought a few nicely tuned machines.

Amongst private owners, tuners like Zimax, Scoot, Amemiya, R-Magic and amazing customs, the Newera FD looked right at home.

As you walk in between the Vertex wide bodies and ex and current Auto Salon machines, race cars and road cars, you realise how passionate people are with their rotary vehicles. I wish mine had been ready.

It would have looked like this one.

For me the re-finished Scoot 4 rotor was the best there and was even better than before. With this level of detail work, few can match it.

Event's like these give you hundreds of ideas

about what works and what doesn't.

What looks driveable and not.

As we stupidly contemplated heading down to Osaka with the guys from Scoot, we realised in the last two days we didn't have much sleep and although Osaka would be special, it will very similar scene. Sometimes you can see toooo many FDs. hehe.

20b Super Greddy brought Ama-san to the event.
