I like seeing different wheels on RE-A cars. This one looks great with Advan RS. Strangely seldom seen. 59"291 set the pace.

It's all about perspective, light, depth of field, framing, and of course being there.

Red FD in the background also runs sub 1.00 regularly.

Super now FC is now wearing TFR logos.

Still a monster. A well sorted FC is still as quick or quicke than most FD3s Maybe they have more space for that HUGE TURBO!

HKS Premium Day 2011 - Perspective

Here is the final perspective of the HKS Premium Day from Dino.

Pan Speed were 2nd quickest on the day. The NSX Turbo from Espirit went quicker.

7's Day - Perspective - William - (AUS)

I think there is two types of car lovers, the first is people interested purely in power, burnouts, and who can be faster, often labeled as rev-heads or petrol heads, or whatever! The second consists of people interested in particular types of cars, interested in the genuine parts and the nostalgic value. I would catergorise myself in the latter.

For me, Rx7s represent so much more than just a performance car. The shape of the car, the unique engine that lies under the hood, the curves of the bonnet, sides and roof, the popping sound of the exhaust and a cabin that feels like its moulded around the driver, are just a few points that makes this car such a special car for me.

It was no doubt that the first car I purchased in Japan was an Rx7. I looked for almost 6 months for perfect car, searching all over Japan for what I wanted. I finally found what I was looking for only moments from my apartment in Okayama. The car had many genuine Mazdaspeed items, and was irresistible. Coincidently, and something that I didn’t realize until later on, I actually purchased my first FD Rx7 on the 7th of the 7th month in 2007. Fate?

While I have sold that car, my passion for Rx7s still lives. Last weekend, I attended the Rx7 and Rx8 yearly gathering at Central Circuit, a festival that celebrates these truly amazing cars.


On my arrival at Central Circuit, I was rewarded from my two hour journey from Okayama to Hyogo prefecture with a extensive variety of Rx7s. The cars in the carparks were equally appealing to the eyes as the cars on display. Many workshops from Kansai and Chugoku areas had there cars on display.

The FEED cars were of particular interest with there interested body designs.

Also present was a NA 20B Red Bull FD that sounded very angry when it was started up and attracted a lot of attention.

While not an Rx, another car of particular interest was the small Wankel powered 1963 NSU Spyder in mint condition. Many people were taking photos, but I really wondered if they actually knew that this little German car was actually the first model to house a Wankle engine.

There were several events throughout the day, including dyno power checks, D1 demos, Workshop drives around the circuit and a time attack battle for the best times. It was great to see a variety of cars, with each car having a degree of individualism. Makes me glad I didn’t by a Honda!

7's Day - Perspective - Daniel (SWE)

Russ wanted me to write something about my Tsukuba experience so here we go.

This machine is more my style. I have seen a lot of images and have followed the project on Revolutions webpage since they started building this car. I am VERY impressed as everyone else who has seen this car, and what it can do.

If I was Batman I would ride in this!

When I first saw this car I thought the fenders were all wrong, but man has it grown on me.

The Pan speed 8 was also out playing on the circuit. Although wrong day and wrong month it did show it is a race car.

RE-Amemiyas SuperGT replica looked good. Like the rims! (ed. I wonder why Dan?)

I have seen this car for a few years now and I really like the way the owner put it together. He drives it properly and it just looks so clean. AD-GT kit is never wrong. Except for speed bumps.

Now THIS is what Amemiya-san should be doing. I just love this car!

Takayama-san really went for it in R-Magic's D1 car. He was wide fast and the wheels were....

I got a ride in this Knightsports Rx8! Man when I get a family I know what car I will buy!

ed Note. Dan is a crazy fd guy who lives in Sweeden and visits Japan almost every year. His usual ride is this very well sorted FD.

This is the second time I go to Tsukuba for the 7's day. And my anticipations since last time were high. They had brought the 767B, Time attack cars and some D1 machines. As soon as I found out that Revolution were coming I knew the day would be good.
Left my apartment at 5:40 to meet up with Russ and we headed for Tsukuba circuit, and here is my contribution to this great site.
I don't know what to say about RE-Amemiyas new car. But I don't agree with Russ on this one. I love the old Touge monster, and the new D1 car. But this Green machine is just wrong for me. Then again it did move on the track!
