RE-Amemiya is the main man of Japanese Rotary Tuning. As the man responsible for the highest level Super GT entry, Isami-san is the guy who gets it done.
His effort for 2003's custom car entry was this Greddy final 7. I believed like most of us that the FD would be replaced and the titled car would be the last.
The latest wide body was installed on this car with porsche styling and those funky mirrors.
Out back was the diffusser styling of the AC987 and a meaty rear wing
Isami-san's team includes the star dust factory who make a lot of the body parts for RE-A.
And they did a very nice job with this one. Enkei RPf1 complement it nicely.
But the remote controlled electric motor gull wing attracted a lot of attention on this and their other star dust car.
A little slow to operate though.
Beside the main car was this awesome cammo special built for a customer. The owner wears cammo everywhere.
basically these two cars are very simillar and 100% street cars. Although they can run on the circuit and have, they are predominantly street focus as the gull wing adds a lot of kilos
Very well executed theme.
Standard ADGT kit is total.
The doors pop out then up.
This Super GT replica also was out the back of the display.
This car runs the Super GT 3 rotor... about 430ps in the time attack car.
interesting colour choice would later change (now owned by a super GT driver).
in 2003 this car ran 58 seconds at tsukuba I think. RE-A sure know how to setup an FD.
You can watch this car in all its screaming glory in option videos.
The last RE-Amemiya car was this boost up SPL with Facer9 front. My favourite.
The mitsu GTO inspired bumper incorporates splitter and canards to good effect.
This was the precursor to the Touge Monster. IMO the real touge SPL.
New side diffussers and carbon parts finished this car nicely.
ed.It's still running strong in 2010 around Tokyo.
Super Autobacs is another company that has no ties to manufacturers. This way they can build ultimate cars.
This one wears R-Magic and a mix of parts. just read the door for the shopping list.
Chiba Naganuma prepped this one.
Love the SSR!
inside was a Defi and audio festival.
Universal air had this car.
T&E had their Vertex release. these cars are always super clean.
Hows this for perfect.
Advan AVS T5 simply look great.
Some bad pics of Besige kit from Wise Square
You can't be always perfect.
I filled a total of 64Mega bytes. WOW.
I'll leave you with Yellow Hat's Mooncraft YMS demo car. This was a turnkey effort with subtle but effective mods.
That finishes the 2003 coverage. It was awesome. get there one day.
