What has a smooth black skin, an aggressive stance and a fierce growl? Here is a sneak peak.I am excited to announce the start of my new FD project, RE-Xtreme Version II with Newera. Even though it has a current spec engine of around 350bhp and the chassis is already tuned to a reasonable level with selected items, this Rx7 will be receiving a lot more attention in the coming months. The car will not be registered for street attack until after the 1st of April, but that doesn't mean the project hasn't started.
The decision was made to go with this 1996 model as a starting point, utilising its' 16 bit ECU technology and upgraded components from the later model, then tune to create something quite special. I will be incorporating some of the best components available on the Japanese market to create a formiddable FD3s Rx-7.
Stay tuned as more unfolds in 2007 .
