7's Day - Final Destination

The final destination was UMI hoteru. This a PA parking Area in the middle of Tokyo Bay. There is a 10klms bridge and a 15klm tunnel.

After a blast through the tunnel and the twist up the spiral parking.

You find more and more rotary fanatics.

Undercover protection gave everyone a chance to relax out of the rain.

Most made the trip from Daikoku, but many geaded directly there

This white stocker with SE37K looks great.

Ama-san had Nomu-ken in tow from Daikoku. SAB crew proceeding directly.

Tried to replicate the Pro's photos with my crap camera.

It really doesn't work sometimes.

Mikey was doing his hydraulics dancing.

Nice legs, shame about the face...

Tamon understands design.

Many combined the track day with a quick cruise.

Others stick to the street. So why the canards??? hmmmm.

Some are pristine

Some are not so.

What's missing. An FD side vent on the FC bonnet?

Some are lacking in colour co-ordination, Orange and Red Wheels? Some do better. Red and Gold Wheels.

Some do very well... This is my spot!

Arrived in one piece.

At speed or standing still, Zimax cars define JDM Street Racer.

But there are many flavours of that.

Many cars were downstairs in the truck zone.

But it was simply too dark and too wet and I was too tired.

For many like me who made the trip from home to Tsukuba, Daikoku and Aqua line there was still an hour or so of driving to go.

It was time to go and leave the 7's Day adventure for another year.

Hope everyone enjoyed the coverage of the Tokyo Events. There are still many more events from All over Japan to cover.

Stay tuned.

Russ.
