For me, TAS was ALL about texture this year. As companies search for something that hasn't been done before or continue refinement. They have turned their attention past and through carbon to rubber, vinyl, aluminium, steel, paint, leather, glass, L.E.D, and everything else. These are all parts of the FD3s. Some more recognisable than others. The real, the fake, the bold and destructive.

I usually don't, but a tactile experience was required this year. The surfaces were not smooth. Looking was not enough.

There'll be more to come. I'm trying to give you a "feel" for the Tokyo Auto Salon. Not just a look.
